Ridiculously hazy golden and peach coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head that coats the beer nicely, but the glow and haze are great - especially for a Light IPA. Aroma of grain, pine, resin, oranges and a touch of hay, all with a noticeable alcohol and malt presence showing some bitterness throughout - quite strong in the nose. Light-bodied; Pungent and biting bitterness from the strong grassy and herbal hops with a large orange and especially grapefruit flavours with a good kick from hay, grasses, light fruits and an especially noticeable resin and herbal character at the end which is nice and pungent all at once. Overall, a nice and very enjoyable, yet flavourful beer that shows a ton of bitterness and grain at first, but the hop characteristics, dryness, fruit and resin all come throughout without much malt or punch - this is all about hop flavours with a strong dry and bitterness, but not residual heaviness in the palate - done very well, perhaps one of the best Light IPAs I've had ever, or at least in a VERY long time! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 28-February-2019 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 02-April-2019.

12 oz. can. Best Before: 10/26/18. The can label is about as lazy and generic as can be. I guess no need for artwork? The aromas nice; bold citrus, hint of tropical fruit, and light pine. Flavor is a reflection with a light dusty yeast note. Bitterness is easy with earthy pine. Good amount of from. Appropriate body. Good flavor for under 5 % ABV. Respectable.

2 week old can A: Pours a generous fluffy white head atop a finely hazed medium gold body with huge bubbles rapidly rising. S: Bright tropical and citrus scent with peach, melon and tangerine dominating sweet bread or cake malt notes. T: Bitter and dry taste with flavors of citrus pith, peach and pineapple. Tart aftertaste. M: Light body with spritzy carbonation and a dry, lightly resinous finish. O: Very good.
