Sampled at the brewery alongside HuskerTan and MetalNHopHead. The wine barrels and wood did wonderful things to this brew. The dark fruits of the base dubbel are still here, yet the flavor becomes smooth and candy like.
Medium body with a smooth with a sweet finish. It never get cloying, the wine helps round out the sweetness. Pretty nice drink!

Draft. A- Cinnamon, baked apples, subtle vanilla. A- Mahogany color, hazy liquid, tan head. T- Cinnamon, baked apples. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Tastes just like a liquid version of grandma’s cinnamon baked apples. Really tasty. I wish more breweries would use Palo Santo wood.
