Crowler from the brewery. Clear golden, medium sized creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malt, citrus and hints of pine. The taste is piney hops, toasted caramel malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

Tap at the brewery. It pours clear deep amber with a decent white head. The nose is fresh, grassy, fresh lemon, pine, lemon parfait, earth and such like. The taste is crisp, bitter, pine, varnish, resin, grass, lemon zest, alcohol boost and light spice. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rather nice hoppy lager.

4 oz taster at the brewpub. Clear gold in color with head that died quickly. The aroma is light grapefruit pith and mild tropical fruits. I understand this is a lager and for what it is it’s ok. The super thin body comes off as watery. The flavor is ok. It displays the same fruit found in the nose. This should be easy drinking in the hotter months of summer. Decent
