500ml bottle - Well I see from scanning the other reviews that I didn’t get a bad bottle. It’s supposed to taste this way. So here we go. It pours dark amber with a medium, fluffy head. There’s a malty aroma with a hint of spice. The malt led flavor is quite tart and in an odd tasting way that doesn’t really go with this style. The hops is definitely in there with some moderate bitterness, but even it seems kind of off. It also needs a little more body. This beer is thoroughly unimpressive. I’m really not sure what they were going for here. It looks good and smells okay, then it starts going downhill.

Pours an orange amber into an English pint. Offwhite head recedes to blotch surface. Sour chocolate aromas. Slick and metallic with a lasting bitter copper finish.

Bottle. Rich dark amber beer with a nice light tan head. Earthy, spicy, toffee malt aroma. Earthy, grassy, slight lemon flavor with toffee/nutty malts. Lingering citrus and malt. Medium body.

Pour is a murky brown with a medium white head. Aroma is hoppy and a wine or vinegary smell. Flavor starts out sweet but then the tart fruityness hits you. After a few sips the beer actually gets more tart and sour. An ok brew overall, it has it bad and good qualities. A very bitter, bitter!

This is a weird beer and much more complex than any other bitter I have tried. The aroma has malt and fermented fruit. The beer is dark brown but mostly clear. There is an enormous off white head that lasts a long time and laces the glass. Several flavors. First is sweet malt, followed by sour fruit, and finally bitter hops. Nearly a fruit beer.

Not sure if I like it much, but I'm glad I tried it - its very unique and resembles no other beer I've tried - which I find refreshing. Dark brownish amber color with a slight head and lacing (low carb overall: bottle-conditioned). Earthy vegetal aroma with a slight hint of smoke, chocolate, and maybe even manure! Dark fruity flavor and generally sweet with a modicum of bitterness. Very slightest presence of citric cascades in the nose. Not as hoppy as the label's description suggests - except for the lingering unusual bitterness at the back of the tongue. Finishes heavy, sweet and almost cloying on the tongue.
