Vanilla oatmeal stout - POD is a wonderfully approachable stout, we use oats to add a lovely smooth mouthfeel to this deep dark beer. Lovely coffee and chocolate notes come from the premium malted barley and a vanilla hit that melds beautifully with the chocolate profile at the base of this beer.

Bottle from flavoury. Very deep Ruby black colour with a thin tan head. Aroma roasted malt, chocolate, and subtle vanilla. Taste light treacle, and a roasted bitter finish, thick body, and low carbonation, really big beer for 4.2%

Cask @ Hopbunker, Cardiff. Pours dark with ruby hints, thin bubbly head. Aroma of roast / coffee. Taste is watery with no real body. No detectable vanilla, mild espresso finish. Not what I thought it was going to be.

Cask as Vanilla Stout. Not sure how Iโ€™m supposed to figure out what beer goes with what name. Now that Iโ€™ve found this, OK - Pod, vanilla, I get it. But if this is a game itโ€™s not a lot of fun. At least put some info about the beer on your website. Anyway, this beer is a clear ruby brown color with a beige head. Aroma of vanilla brownies. Taste has vanilla and soft roast. Light body.
