Cask @ Fly on the Loaf, Liverpool [040916]
Black, ruby edges, dense white head, good lacing
Aroma of mellow roast, touch of coffe roast
Taste of dark malts, dark toffee, dab of dark chocolate, touch of coffee, dark fruits, soft milk sugars, soft flavour
Palate - Medium light body, some smoothness from the oats, quite sweet, almost no roast. Finish of sweet dark malts, tad over sweet, hint of bitter roast
Overall - Light creamy, OK

Cask handpull at The Thomas Rigbys Liverpool. Black dark ruby beer lasting tan head. some coffee some dark fruits. Ok condition some dryness towards finish. Mostly date and plum fruits. It’s a decent dark ale with some good malty fruit. Ok.

Pendle Beer Festival 2016. Extremely dark brown in colour. Ordinary in taste with palatable roasted malts.
