Cask at Picture House, Stafford. Pours a dark (almost very dark) reddish-brown with a small foamy cream head and good lacing. Malts are the mainstay of the aroma plus traces of coffee and honey. In the mouth it is quite sweet though with a somewhat watery texture. Flavours are berry fruits and malts plus hints of toast and raisins with traces of chocolate and honey coming later. This is fairly decent though I expected the honey to be more prominent

Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A clear dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting beige cap. Aroma is subdued, malt loaf, raisin, brown sugars, toasted malts, earth. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty, twiggy malts, toasted nuts, burnt toast, char. Not much honey flavour at all. Palate is semi sweet, rounded lingering bitter earth.

Cask @ Albion Ale House, Conwy [021215]
Dark caramel brown. clear, dense off white head
Aroma of caramel malts, light honey (good there isn’t too much), malty, slight bitter hop in background, dab of toffee, bit under flavoured for the abv
Palate - Medium light body, soft sweet, smooth, seems a bit thin. Finish as main flavour.
Overall - Was told in the pub this was a mixture of Cwrw Mêl and Telford Porter done at the brewery.
