Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Woody, light sourish aroma. Starts fine malty, spicy, light sourish. Some fruity notes of plum, some berries, also light vanilla hints. Finish more balanced, again fruity-malty with a light sourish touch. Nice one!

0,75 l bottle from their Lagerverkauf on fridays a few months (better times ...) ago. Listed with 7.9 % abv. on the label. Unclear red brown in the glass, nearly no head. Intensive fruity smell, cherry, sweetness, barrel wood, vanilla. Taste is less intensive but also cherry, barrel wood and vanilla. Fruity sweetness with malt. Low to zero carbonation. Balanced, smooth and easy to drink. Very nice!

7 3 7 3 15Draft at Festivale der Bierkulturen, Cologne. Fairly hazy brown with no head. Aroma of malt, citrus, woody notes, tart light fruits and a light funk. Flavour is moderate sweet and sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled @ Festival der Bierkulturen Köln 2017. Leicht trübes orange braunes Bier. Geruch ist säuerlich, rote Früchte, holzig, Trauben. Geschmack ist mild säuerlich fruchtig, rote Beeren, Karamell, trocken, Trauben.

Sampled from bottle at FdB Köln 2017. Slightly hazy, reddish brown with a white layer. Sweetish, slightly sourish, woody and a bit fruity aroma of caramel, oak, red grapes and cherries. A bit sweetish, moderately sour, woody and slightly fruity taste of caramel, red grapes, oak, some vinegar and a touch of chocolate, followed by a short, moderately tart, woody-dry and slightly vinous finish. Almost medium-bodied, slightly astringent and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
