Very well done beer. Although it’s really just a double ipa with some color. The balance is nice, the hops modern and lively. Not bitter. Very well done, but not an imperial red other than the color. Online craftbeer-shop

0.33 l bottle from ’Bierpost.de’ at 9.2% abv, best before May 2017. Clear, deep red with a thin, frothy, almost stable, tan head. Sweetish, fruity-resiny aroma of strawberry jam, caramel, some passion fruit and pine. Sweet, fruity-resiny taste of caramel, strawberry jam, raisins, pine and orange, followed by a short, moderately bitter, resiny finish. Medium to full body, thick and oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Quite sweet, hops at the lower end of the necessary level, could have a little bit more carbonation, but quite tasty (although one-dimensional). Definitely pleasant to drink!
