330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy and minimally grainy aroma, hints of lemon, lemon zest, a touch of yellow apple. Taste is slightly sweet pale malty, biscuity, fruity hoppy, hints of yellow apple, a touch of lemon, grassy overtones; smooth and soft palate, fine, gentle carbonation.

Craft 100. Clapham. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, patchy white head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, not that sweet. Bitter floral hop. Modest citric pith. Smooth dry bitterish finish. A little harsh.

Gravity dispense at Craft 100, 06/10/16. Clear golden orange with a moderately appointed off White cap. Nose is orange peel, straw, pale malt, grains. Taste comprises pithy citric rinds, bread dough, melon, tangerine, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light astringent bitterness in the close. Ok.

Cask pint in the Pump & Truncheon, Blackpool on 8th Sep 2016. Golden amber in colour, wispy white head. Sadly this was towards the end of the barrel and I did not really enjoy it: had drank half before i realised it wasn’t right, too late to return it. Although looking on this site the rates are not great anyway. Thought it more malty than ’American Hoppy’: scored kindly.
