Hauff-Bier Vollbier Hell, Flasche vom SB-Markt Zahn, Lichtenau. - Satt goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase mildes, leicht brotiges helles Malz, deutliche Süße, Bierwürze, schwacher Hopfen. - Antrunk weich hellmalzig, deutlich süß, mit Anklängen an überreife Frucht. Recht ausdruckslose zitronige Hopfenherbe. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang milde aber noch ausreichende Herbe. - Zu süß, banal gehopft und ohne Tiefgang - ein weiteres Nullbier des Tucher-Konzerns. (2.7.2020.)

From the bottle. Gold with a frothy to foamy white head that doesn’t last. Aroma of fresh dough, herbs, cereals. The usual malty sweetness of a Helles dominates the taste. Finishes lightly bitter and dryer with a hint of alcohol. Medium body, lightly buttery, mild carbonation. Nothing here to win me over.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Grainy malty and slightly doughy aroma with traces of butter and shades of spicy hops. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Grainy malt character with doughy spots, as well as a whiff of blossoms and honey; mildly sweet and restrained bitter hoppy finish. Clean and decent Lager. 02.VII.18

€-Flæschla: Golden, clear, creamy, stable and lacy white head, clean sweetish grainy nose with an idea of herbal-strawy hops in the background; mild to moderate sweetish flavour with a delicate bitterness, light to medium bodied, really soft; shorter smooth sweetish malty-grainy finish with a late bitterness. Nothing wrong with it…

Sweet corn and barley malt aroma with a hint of grass. Golden yellow with a large head. Not so good.
