Can: Poured a clear golden color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry malt with spruce notes and some dry hoppy notes. Taste is also a mix of medium spruce notes with some dry hoppy undertones with light dry malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Easily drinkable with nice mix of spruce and hops.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light pine needles, light bready notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light pine needles, nice and grainy. On tap at brewery.

Can at Brother’s Beer Bistro. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a light beige creamy head, good retention and decent lace. Caramel malt aromas with fruity notes and some grainy cereals. The spruce shows up in the taste, but lightly with nice grain, caramel and hops. Interesting pale ale blended with spruce notes.
