Basic and we’ll made. Biscuity malts, light grassy hops. Very sessionable. A nice patio quaff.

A golden ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with loads of citrusy resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice grainy biscuit malt with grassy citrusy floral hops, light mineral notes, light grainy finish, OK. On tap at Ottawa location.

Draft: Poured a clear light copper color ale with a small foamy head with limited retention and no lacing. Aroma of light grainy cereal notes is OK. Taste is also dominated by grainy cereal notes with light dry hops notes and a watery thin finish. Body is light with OK carbonation. I didn’t think the malt bill was really that great and finish is too watery even for style.

Toronto 2015 trip +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a copper color with a large foamy orange-white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweetish, citric, grassy and perfumey. The flavor was dryish with notes of cracker, grass and perfumey hops. Medium length hoppy finish. Light body. Blah.

Had at the Ottawa brewpub in 2014 the first time. Now having from the bottle, from their sample 6-pack. Pours a clean amber colour with a warm cap, long lasting with decent lace. Fruity malt nose with hints of nuts, cilantro grassy sourness and a barley base. Malty taste with some spiciness, but milder as low alcohol. Mineral water feel. The first time I had this, it had diacetyl, so was not the best. From the bottle, I do not feel this. Just real barley. Much better, making this a nice summer ale.

New at the brewpub, summer 2014. Pours a clear amber colour with a nice frothy off-white head, good retention and lots of lacing. Also lots of aromas with caramel, grain, nuts and butter. Decent medium bodied mouthfeel. The taste is lighter, as this is a lighter beer, but still has what is found in the nose. An overall decent mild ale with lots of diacetyl to give it some punch.
