Enjoyed at the Loon. Pours a hazy dark brown colour with a light beige head and creamy lacing. Beautiful aromas of spices (nutmeg, cloves) over roasted malts. Hints of bananas from the wheat, I guess. Lots of the same for the taste with dark fruit notes and nice bitterness in the finish, with some apples. A good strong Belgian dark ale with lots going on.

A dark reddish copper ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, candy sugar, light curacao, pleasant and warming. In mouth, sweet dark fruity malt with light butterscotch, candy sugar, light curacao, coriander, very nice and classic Belgian ale. On tap at Arrow and Loon.
