Can: Poured a black color stout with a medium brown foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of light roasted malt with black chocolate notes and some subtle notes of liquorice is OK. Taste is a mix of light roasted malt with some black chocolate notes, some residual sugar with some very subtle notes of liquorice. Body is about average with good carbonation. OK but liquorice notes are more subtle then I was expecting.

Can from the brewery. Pours a real dark brown colour with hardly any highlights. Mocha-coloured head with decent stay and lots of foamy patches of lacing. Roasted malt nose with some coffee and hints of nuttiness. The taste is the roasted malts with darker coffee notes, but all real mild. Feeling more the nutty notes than the liquorice. No anise in sight. Not one I would go back to from this brewery.

A dark stout with a very thin brown head. In aroma, sweet chocoalte malt wit light coffee and some salty licorice notes. In mouth, a sweet milk chocolate with faint licorice, vanilla, thin bodied, OK. Minigrowler from brewery.
