Bottle from beerhive. A much needed afternoon beer. Nose is coffee, chocolate, some sweet bread. Palate is chocolate, hints of vanilla, citrus, vanilla. Not bad, leaves a bit of a orange juice flavour in the mouth.

Pendle Beer Festival 2018. Black with a small off-white head. It's initially milky with more robust roasted malts to finish.

Cask at Cloisters Bar Edinburgh. Black beer lasting tan head. a little under carbonated good dark chocolate though. A little coconut i guess. Too juicy for me. Prefer something dryer. Ok though. Like the dark chocolate

Cask tasted on the Jeremiah´s Taproom (11/08/2016). Intense dark colour with a medium thin tan lacing head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, sweet chocolate, coconut. Taste of coconut, sweet cocoa, biscuits and toffee. Aftertaste is dry with roasted malts. Next one please!

330ml bottle, with thanks to AshtonMcCobb. Many thanks. Pours black with tan head. Aroma is vanilla, cocoa, roast, possibly some coconut now you mention it. Taste has a curious mix of sweet, lactose and roast that doesn’t quite sit right with me. It’s a sweet stout alright, just a bit too sweet for me.
