Bottle pour. Lemon yellow pour with a sour apple aroma. Sour fruit flavor with grape, plum, and green apple. Long sour finish. This is yet another sour masterpiece by Almanac. You can’t go wrong with their sour beers.

Bottle. Pours with a mildly clear, quite pale hued body with a white head that succumbs to the acidity. Aromas are of plums, pretty strong candied almond notes, pasty, almond paste, damp leaves, ripe citrus, melon, oak, lactones, ripe vanillin, wet grass. Flavors are tart, candied citrus, dehydrated stone fruit, plum, pear, co2, mineral water, moderate malt. Spritzy carbonation, medium acidity, medium low tannin. Good overall. Strong candied/dried fruit notes.

375 ml bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy apricot yellow color with about a finger and a half of off-white head that fades quickly. Aromas of wine, Brett, funk, stone and tropical fruits. Tasting notes of stone fruit, wine, Brett, slight oak, tart fruit. Medium body with a very dry finish. Medium carbonation, semi-juicy and slightly crisp mouthfeel. Pretty tasty.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Jason. Pours lightly hazy gold with a wispy, white foam head. Engaging aroma with a bit of dried citrus, nectarine, peach, lemon. Medium sweet flavor with mellow tart lemons, a bit of cereal, tangerine, some pine needles. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish, further mellow lemons, slight bitter straw, cereal, tangerines. Good stuff.

Tap at Rate Beer Galleria. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Light sour plum aroma. Med minus body. It’s quite tart, but has an apricot jam aspect. But it’s astringent. Refreshing and tasty.
