Run of the mill blonde ale. Does every brewery in Ontario really need to brew one of these? Will they shut their doors if they don’t? Nothing wrong with it, it’s just very mundane and boring. Grassy hops, basic pale malts. Meh. Like assholes....everyone’s got one.

Can: Poured golden color ale with a medium size white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with some residual sugar notes and light buttery notes can also be detected. Taste is a mix of cereal notes with some residual sugar notes with light buttery notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Refreshing and enjoyable golden ale but could be a little bit cleaner.

Pours a clean light-golden colour with a small warm cap, a little retention and minimal lacing. Grainy cereal malts at first pour with the caramel sweet malt showing a lot with time. Even the butter notes of diacetyl. The taste is not as sweet, malty still, but with the hops balancing things. Cereal and grass mildly lingers. Decent dryness. An easy-going, flagship blonde ale. I prefer the Kichesippi version for an Ottawa micro of this style. Better grains overall.

A golden blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with butterscotch notes, light grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with grainy notes, mash tun, grassy hops, OK. Growler at brewery.
