A half growler from the brewery retail outlet. This is a pale, clear IPA with a soft white well laced head. The nose is a range of fresh hops - grapefruit, fruit rind and tropical fruit. Sometimes brewery promo materials tell the truth - the taste of this beer is indeed an explosion of different fresh hop tastes -- lemon, grapefruit, floral accents and mango and other tropical fruit. A touch of soapiness, a touch of pepper and sweet bready malt sustain the taste. Juicy, refreshing and challenging all at the same time. Excellent beer.

Now, as a Flash Series - an APA at 5.2% ABV. Pours a hazed golden colour with an amber hue. The frothy white cap lasts a while and leaves good, thick foamy lacing. The nose is a blend of orange juices (tangerines), lemon zest and some mild oats. The taste shows the citrus juices and peel again. Decent juiciness, then dryness. A nice citrusy, juicy Pale ale.

A hazed amber ipa with a thin off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with loads of floral piney and citrusy floral, catty notes, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of citrusy hops, tropical fruit, very nice. On tap at Winter Brewfest Ottawa 2015.
