Assemblage # 33 – Version 2022 Olfactif fruité et vanillé offrant des arômes de fruits confits, d’orange, de poivre, de Bourbon, de miel et de sucre d’orge. Mousse extrêmement épaisse et rocailleuse recouvrant un liquide ambré très voilé et fortement effervescent. Effervescente et chaleureuse en bouche où les notes d’orange dominent assez largement. Le malt nous donne des notes miellées et caramélisées. Aucune agressivité dans l’alcool qui intègre sa chaleur réconfortante tout en mettant en évidence un boisé de barrique de Bourbon. L’amertume est cependant très douce et composée de houblons légèrement épicés assortis d’alcool. Réconfortante, fruitée et miellée avec un alcool très bien intégré. J’aurais cependant préféré une amertume plus prononcée et quelques épices en surplus dans la palette. Mais elle se veut absolument très agréable et bien charpentée. A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, pleasant fruity malt with light barrel quality, oak, grassy hops, orange pulp, very nice and smooth. In mouth, a beautiful sweet fruity malt with candy sugar, coriander, curacao, alcohol warmth, light grapeskins, barrel notes, a sipper. On tap at Station HO.st.

On tap at Ho.st. Now listed at 11.9% Sample that pours a crystal clear gold hard to believe it is almost 12%! Tons of bourbon, honey, oak and vanilla in the nose. Boozy taste in a med-light body. The taste is sharp caramel vanilla and bourbon with tons of heat. A great barrel aged beer but not exactly sippable.
