Pours a dark amber colour with golden highlights. The head is light-beige, with average retention and some decent creamy-foamy lining lacing, and spots. A minty, herbal hoppiness in the aromas, over the sweet malt base and good maple notes. Hints of wheat-bananas do come out with time. The maple nicely comes out in the taste, and the hops do cut the sweetness. Not syrupy at all, going down nicely, and not too thick. Grassiness lingers, but not as minty as the nose. Quite a nice, real maple, thinner Wee Heavy with higher hoppiness.

A dark brown scotch ale with a thin brown head. In aroma, dark fruits and molasses, vanilla, light licorice, alcohol warmth, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with candy sugar, molasses, maple syrup, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at brewery.
