on tap at the beer bistro. Grassy hops, and some nice biscuity malts. The oak is subtle, and doesnt seem to take away or add to the beer at all. Just overall a nice beer.

Bottle: Poured a light brown color beer with a medium size foamy head with light retention. Aroma of lightly sweet caramel malt with light cereal notes. Taste is also dominated by dry caramel malt with light cereal notes with some subtle residual sugars notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Missing a bit of biscuit malt that do wonder for the style.

Single bomber at the LCBO. Pours a clean amber colour with a frothy warm cap, good retention and thick lacing. Rusty hop aromas with some butterscotch notes. Medium-light bodied. Caramel malt taste with some decent mild hop adding a little bitterness and dryness to the finish. Hints of butter and bread. Good, but nothing to exceptional.

Draught at C’est What, Toronto
Golden to amber color, with creamy head. Some aroma of malt and hay. Smooth mouthfeel, with nice malt and hay flavor, some cereals, a bit creamy; correct bitterness. Balanced.

A hazed amber with a thin white head. In aroma, white wine and smooth sweet malt, fruity esters. In mouth, a smooth nutty and oaky malt with oily mouthfeel, chalky, nice. Cask at Beaus’s Oktoberfest, Oct. 1 2011.
