Keg at the Euston Tap. Aroma is grainy, barley wine like almost, orange, bit of grapefruit, some butterscotch, weird, but nice. Was a bit far down the booze road at this stage, but it stood out. --- Beer merged from original tick of (collab with) Other Half Duel of the Fates on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Keg at Euston tap. Translucent golden orange coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is lovely big juicy hop, orange, tangerine, peach, sherbet , some caramelised pine. Flavour is composed of semi sweet base grains, biscuit and caramel, clean juicy hop, tangerine, and pine needle, little bready wafer in the finish. Palate is medium bodied, slightly sticky bir finishes semi dry, highish carbonation. Assertive mellow clean hop bitterness. Very well balanced.

Keg at BD Sheps Bush, 15/12/15. Hazed orange amber with a well appointed light beige covering. Nose is pissy citrics, dank hop strokes, pine resin, bitter orange, grapefruit, mandarin. Taste comprises dank hops, pine, light caramel, orange pith, lemon rind, sharp grapefruit intake. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with semi aggressive hop bitterness. Solid dank IPA, great balance and chuggability.

Keg at Craft CG. It pours cloudy burnt orange with a decent white head. The nose is fresh, so very juicy, peach, tangerine, pineapple, fruit punch and pine needles. The taste is crisp, smooth bitterness, pine needles, juicy peach, zesty orange, tangerine, papaya, 5alive fruit juice, brioche, light grassy dankness and a touch of pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. So very juicy and utterly drinkable. Delicious!

Keg at Mother Kelly’s - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a tight, frothy off-white head. Hearty, dank and resinous pine in the nose, some ripening orange, melon, papaya. Medium sweet flavor with moderate biscuity pale malts, lots of oily pine, gooey citrus, plump tropical juice, mango, papaya, pineapple. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Pleasantly resinous on the finish, lightly warming, with more ripe fruits, orange, papaya, fairly subdued piney bitterness, pale bread, tangerine, melon. Really fresh and vibrant, and it drinks well below the ABV. It’s excellent IPA.

Whale ticking. Liquid hop resin. Loads of late dry-hopping. Soft malts. Devine.
