Bottle: Poured a light color amber with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of weird grainy taste with some gross sweetness. Taste is also off with gross butterscotch notes and some dry hops which don’t mix really well. Body is about average with oily texture and medium carbonation. The butterscotch notes are really gross and I had to drain pour this one.

A golden ale with a thin white head. A nice caramelly malt with light butterscotch notes. In mouth, a nice biscuitty malt with some good grainy qualities, light British hops, a bit of an oily mouthfeel. Lighter bodied. On tap at brewpub, Oct. 10 2009.

Hazy golden-straw colour. Thin head. Very fresh pale malt with sublime lemony, almost gingery hops. Herbal, lemongrass hops and fresh-cracked pale malt on the palate with slightly toasty and caramelly earthy malts. Clean, fresh as the sea...just beautifully crafted.
