Brown bottle, 750 ml, sample with Lousie, Dum, Lubière and CapFlu, in honor of CapFlu moving to BC ; eye: amber, suspended matter particulate, no effervescence, lightly hazy; nose: cider, cardboard, malt (grain), dry white wine, oxidation; mouth: thin, caramel, honey, a hint of apple, light bitterness, still a bit of carbonation, oxidised finale; overall: disappointing but good for an 8-year old FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 750 ml, échantillon pris avec Louise, Dum, Lubière et CapFlu et en l’honneur de CapFlu qui s’en va en C.-B.; oeil : ambré, matières en suspension, pas d’effervescence, légèrement voilée; nez : cidre, carton, malt (grain), vin blanc sec, oxydation; bouche : mince, caramel, miel, un peu de pomme, légère amertume, quand même un peu carbonatée, finale en oxydation

Lightly hazed golden ale with no head, some reamining carbonatation (after 8 yrs!). Aroma of apples, sweet oxidized malt, and a light white wine. In mouth, time shows. Sweet oxidized malts, with cider qualities, caramel. Some bitterness left (maybe from cork is the theory). A bit lifeless and weak, but still a rare treat. Merci au Duminator! C’était pour une bonne cause.
