A rich, velvety, copper colored ale with a spicy bitterness and character all its own.

Keg at The brewpub. It pours deep red with a small off-white head. The nose is sweet, juicy, oily, candied peel, red berry and jam. The taste is bitter-sweet, oily, juicy, red berry, strawberry, earthy roast, grass and jam with a short, dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Errs towards being too sweet, but drinkable enough. Standard brewpub red.

Amber red ale with good thich white head. Fruity malt aroma, with notes of grapeskin and light berries. Light malt with light diacetyl notes and faint dry hops. Light bodied, for the masses. On tap March 2005.
