From old notes so the details are a bit vague. I remember when Southern tier started and they focused on traditional ales. They mad credible exampled but nothing that really grabbed attention. This one was such a beer. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a pale yellow color with a large foamy white head. The aroma was light tangy and crisp fruity hops. The flavor was tangy with light floral and fruity hops with a touch of bread. The finish turned a bit dry with some lingering hops. Light body. Ok.

Golden clear beer under a nice white head that diminshed somewhat. Clean hop aroma, and a nice bitterness that is supported by a smooth malt presence. Nice Pilsner.

Hazy blonde with a fresh malt and pleasant german hop aroma. Very crips malt taste with nice saaz/german hops reminiscent of cerna hora or fresh Heritage lager but less floral. Nice body for a pilsner.

This is very similar to their mild ale- with a lighter body (yellow-orange) and a slightly hoppier feel. The grassy hops give way to biscuity malt and a slightly bitter finish. Nice mouthfeel. Another good offering for the casual beer sipper but not something worth pursuing otherwise. Thanks Dan (jah noth) for the Southern Tier tour-o'-brews!

Slightly toasty pale malts in the aroma. Hint of herbal hops. Hit of bitterness crosses the palate quickly, but fades, leaving the impression of a beer lighter than it really was.

Golden in colour with a thin off-white head. Smells of honeysuckle, a bit of malt and a slight metallic twang. Light-bodied; Strong flavour wtih the hops noticeable, a strong malt background and a subtle sweetness. Aftertaste shows a decent malt and hop character. Overall, a decent pils - a bit lacking though! I had this pint at MacGregor's in Rochester, New York.
