Big Irish whiskey fan but this is a bit overly sweet, lots of residual sugar, Chocolate notes are nice though

Delicious. Rich booze-soaked dark fruits, whiskey, mellow roast, burnt toffee, moderate earthy bitterness, raisins, plum, stewed berries. Full bodied, chewy. Warming finish, sweet and sticky but not cloying. Outstanding.

Bottle at CBJ, thanks to the team. Near clear but very dark brown beer, small tidy dark tan head. Airy smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Airy soft dark malts, fluffy dark chocolate and milk chocolate. Good smooth creamy Irish Whiskey soaked ripe fruits. A little alcohol spice on the airy finish. Typical 3 Sons elegance and drinkability.

500ml (thx, Matt V.!) @ Ryan's after a crazy busy and nervous weekend.
Aroma: sweet, a bit of smoke, toasted barrel, some say sauce and dark fruits.
Taste: moderately sweet, some little sourness, not as thick, as I expected. Finishes mostly with toasted oak and a smoke-ish notes from it.
Overall: good, but it's disappointing considering the price tag.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Near black with minimal tan head. Toasted oak, soy sauce, Irish whiskey, feint roast and toffee malt, decent.
