Kith & Kin is Scots for ‘friends & family’, which perfectly captures the spirit of this collaboration between two pioneers of our craft. Kith & Kin is a rich Scottish stout aged in Teeling Irish Whiskey barrels. Brewed with a big hit of chocolate malt, to create a flavour packed beer with dark chocolate, coffee and treacle, alongside delicious hints of vanilla and spice. A little barrel-magic means that the aftertaste is smooth, seductive and long.

Bottle: Poured a clear black color stout with a medium size light brown color head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of whiskey notes with light chocolates notes and residual sugar is nice. Taste is a good mix of whiskey notes with some vanilla and light chocolate notes with some residuals sugar notes. Body is quite thin with good carbonation. Good but could have been so much better with more body.

BOTTLE 33 CL in a box. Clear dark brown, beige head. Aroma is raw cereals and Cooked vegetables, yeast, caramel and cooking vegetables. Similar taste, like a sweetened Dunkel. Shame.

This stout poured a deep black colour with a brown, minimal, soapy head. Scents include molasses, loco rice and Melloids cough candies. Zero lacing. First swig had very low carbonation. Flavours of Melloids, molasses and a little caramel. Very minimal whiskey flavour. Finish was nice and burnt with a whisp of whiskey? Nothing like there others... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
