Keg at Skaal, CPH, 11/11/17. Rich chestnut brown with a beige covering. Nose is smoked malts, peated tones, brown bread, light spice. Taste comprises peated malts, brown sugar, fruit slice, light spice, dried fruits. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok smoked affair but lacking depth considering the ABV.

Gladmat 2017. Amber color with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, smoked, alcohol. Flavor is caramel, smoked, alcohol, dried fruit, malt, yeast, dried fruit. Full body. Powerful beer.

Tap at SKAAL, thanks Jens! Pours dark brown with a light skirmish of white foam on top. Sweet candy bacon nose. Smoke is there but not overpowering, sweet fruits such as dark dried plums and figs are making it velvety and sweetish, somewhat soft. Taste is sweet but still has that smoky-meaty flavour, smoked bacon with some dark plum jam on top. Nice leathery smoky sweet caramelly linger with light bitterness in the finish. Super interesting and enjoyable.

Sample at SBWF 2017. A bit hazy dark amber with a small head. Aroma of smoke, malt, light fruit and some caramel. Similar taste. The body was full and the finish quite long.

Tap@Skaal, Copenhagen - Dark brown pour with small off white head. Sweet toasted smoked malty with some notes of caramel and toffee, some fudge, slight charred roasted smoked accents, burnt hay, hoppy nuances, smoked grassy malty into the close.

Draught at KØ17. Caramelly and smoked aroma. Hazy dark amber colour. No head. The flavour is malty, sticky sweet, caramelly and vinous. Tastes lagered but not old. Mild warming alcohol.

Sampled at Gladmat, Malt & Humle 2017. Slightly unclear amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma has malt, caramel, dry fruit and hint of smoked meat. Flavor is quite sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit, moderate bitterness, smoke and some warming alcohol. Full bodied and long lasting aftertaste. A very nice one from EC Dahls.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, smoke, and elderflowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, smoke, elderflowers, and bacon, leading to a dry finish.

200ml draught at Hundholmen Brygghus. A slight haze to a ruby-red body. Dotted spots from a diminishing off-white head. Mildly smoked malts and dried fruity nose. Smoked malty flavour in the direction of meat, dried fruity touch beneath. Lingering dry malt-fruity ending. Full bodied. Pleasant (Bodø 29.05.2017).
