Can from lowcostbeer. Pours black with fizzy tanned head which dissipates quite quickly. Chocolate, caramel and vanilla sweetness comes though clearly on the nose, nothing unexpected but decent intensity. Taste follows with a slight sour note, a touch roasty and brown sugar in the mix. Light to medium bodied, carbonation felt a bit too fizzy, slightly dry and cloying.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Black, tan foam. Roast, caramel, chocolate, a bit of coffee, a bit sweetish, sourish hint, bitterish touch.

Dissipating brown had on a dark brown body. Chocolate & caramel aroma with honey & syrup hints. Medium bodied, smooth g thinning out to a clean back. Dark chocolate, malt, syrup & sweet tastes with a limp roasted finish. Standard.

Black beer, thick fizzy brown head which dwindles to a film. Hefty caramel smell with a little chocolate. Flavour has the same qualities, as you'd expect. Caramel, some chocolate, toasty malt, maybe a little brown sugar. It's not got loads of body to it but it's okay and it's smooth with just a little fizz and a nice malty caramel finish. Very solid.

449 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of salted caramel, nutty chocolate and roasted malts. Flavors of maple syrup, sweet dark caramel, chocolate nougat, and oily roasted malts. Slightly sour notes. Wonderful for 4.5%

Can thanks to my brother. It pours darkest brown to black with a small tan head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, salted caramel, chocolate, vanilla sponge cake, mars bar, toffee crisp, roasted malt and coffee grounds. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, toasty, rich roasted malt, vanilla fudge, milk chocolate, mars bar, toffee crisp, maltesers, coffee grounds and dull umami with a roasty finish. Lighter end of medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Fun stuff. Not too sweet or too much and drinks well at this kind of abv.

Third pint @ Fierce Bar, Edinburgh. Appearance - opaque mat black with an attractive thick crema head. Nose - light caramel and chocolate. A touch of roast. Taste - caramel, chocolate and roast again. Palate - creamy in texture with light roast. Quite thin. Overall - decent.
