Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 24/06/23. Clear golden blonde with a good sized white head. Nose is pale malts, bread dough, lemon sherbets, herb, grass. Taste comprises pale malts, lemon rind, hedgerow, herb, grass, soft breads, light cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy refreshing logger-bier.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A mostly clear pale yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Atoma is nice leafy, grassy hop, straw herbal notes, clean lager notes. Flavour is composed of layered ruatic pale malts, pils, straw, hay, grass, leafy hop, assertive grassy hop bitterness, light crisp finish. Palate is light sweetness, crisp finsh, fine carbonation. Nice cllean lager with rustic edges. Very crushable.

Can. A light haze on this gold beer, short lived white head. Palate is light, mildy dry and has a good fine minerally crispness. Smooth and slightly malts, a nice Czech bready character. Tango hops eh Tony? New to me I think but they go very well in this lager. Quite a complex fruit character if not overtly forward. Soft white orchard fruits and a touch of lemon into a hard to pull-apart soft generic fruitiness. Whisper of candy fruits on the crisp finish. Nice lager and nicely hopped, on the sweet side for a lager but still very much a lager and a very drinkable one.

'Export' (in this case meaning pale lager slightly above standard strength) by these progressive craft brewers in Scotland, thanks Meeki for sharing at Tilquin English Beer Festival. Snow white, moussy, opening head, a bit less ‘firm’ than expected from an artisanal Pilsener, over a misty pale straw blonde robe with grassy tinge. Aroma of raw green cereals, unripe banana, freshly mown lawn, dry cane, field flowers, old lemon zest, white bread. Crisp onset, some green banana and pear but generally neutral, fizzy carb with smooth cereally pale maltiness in the middle, gradually bittered by zesty, grassy, citric hops, a bit lime peel-, unripe green pear- and lemonbalm-like, altogether remaining quite mild. Very crisp strongish lager, dry-hopped in a subtle, non-IPL-like way – in a sense reminiscent of the legendary Victory Prima Pils from the other side of the Atlantic, more so than of the German Dortmunder exports. In any case very decent whatever the substyle!

Clear pale yellow beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of noble hops, very clean, crisp, lovely, a bit fruity, grassy, floral notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: clean bitter start, crisp, a bit grassy, earthy touch, more bitterness, good and clean! Aftertaste: lovely bitter finish, earthy, fruity touch, some citrus, good stuff!

Keg at Casc, Aberdeen. It pours clear golden - yellow with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, cereal, nutty, hay, sponge cake, bread & butter pudding and light spice. The taste is fairly crisp upfront, snappy, bitter - sweet, snappy, grassy, herbal, woody, some sweetness in there, sponge cake, nutty, dried apricot, peach, orange peel, tannin, waxy, soapy and light booze with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent gear.
