330ml can. Minimally cloudy, orangey, deep golden to amber colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly weak, citrusy and piney hoppy aroma, hints of lemon, lemon tea, caramel malty background. Taste is initially slightly citrusy and grassy hoppy, rapidly transforming into mineral and metallic; moreover quite watery.

Can sourced from Good Taste Food and Drink, Crystal Palace, London shared with the Fam/Steatham (29/08/2016) - fuzzy golden coloured pour with medium white head. Tropical fruity hoppy and malty aroma and taste, grapefruit, lemon, pine needles, hoppy bitter finish. Ok.

Can from the Offie & Toffee. It pours clear gold with a small white head. The aroma is sweet grapefruit, pine needles, grass, hay, lemongrass and floral. The taste is bitter, spicy, floral, grass, grapefruit, waxy lemon, lemongrass and pine needles with a dry, peppery finish. Medium body and average carbonation. A bit spicy and weak if truth be told. OK, but not their best.

Can at home in London - sourced from the London Brewers Market. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, white head. There’s a slight raw hop aroma, along with citrus rind, minerals, dry pale malts. Light sweet flavour with prominent pithy citrus, grapefruit peel, more minerals, pale grains. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry and flinty on the finish, with more pithy citrus notes, slight pine needle bitterness, some straw, dried pale bread. Given all the hops in this one, the hop character is actually fairly mellow, and somewhat neutered by that flinty mineral note. Overall, drinkable stuff but not LBF’s best.
