Bière partagée avec Graham et FX. Tout comme sa grande sœur non vieillie en fut, cette version de l'amorena framboise passée en fut de Brandy se démarque par un superbe équilibre, une belle finesse et bonne complexité. Le brandy donne de plus une tension complémentaire très bien dosée avec une framboise amenant quant à elle une légère acidité cassant le sucre. Très belle bière.

Bottle at James's. Pours black, nose is chocolate, cream, liquorice, light raspberry, apple brandy, taste is roasted, chocolate, woody, raspberry is quite muted here.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of apple brandy, chocolate, cinnamon, chocolate cake. Taste is rich, boozy chocolate cake and apple crumble. Spicy boozy finish.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - opaque black, thin tan head. Nose - booze, apple and burnt toffee. Some dark chocolate. Taste - booze, apple and some spice. Palate - medium bodied and rich. Dry woody finish. Overall - good.
