Northern Monk Cans Night At Home Beers #2 of 3. Very mildly hazed pale golden colour. This one is a little overbearing, but that's because the rhubarb and custard and pretty much spot-on in this specialist pale brew, in aroma and taste. It's texture is crisp and very drinkable.

Hazy yellow beer, thick white head. A little vanilla beneath rhubarb in the aroma. Flavour is pretty mellow but fits the bill. Sugary vanilla to make the custard, bittersweet rhubarb. It works and it's very drinkable.

Can courtesy of Lynn and Barry at Merton, Oxon, Tuesday 10th May 2022, listening to the radio. Pours hazy yellowy colour with a white head, very reminiscent of an old skool Rhubarb and Custard sweet. It's a bit too sweet and one dimensional.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl via cgarvieuk. Appearance - cloudy yellow with a generous snow white head. Nose - tangy confected rhubarb, general tutti-frutti sweets and a little creamy vanilla. Taste - tangy rhubarb and lemon sherbet. Palate - medium bodied, tangy middle and finish. Overall - was hoping for more creaminess from the custard side, but not bad.

Keg at Tilt, Bingohame, 12/02/22. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is pale malts, straw, grass, vanilla, custard. Taste comprises sweet malts, light citric sherbets, custard notes, vanilla, white chocolate. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable affair... does what it says on the tin I guess.

Tap at tilt, a light hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is odd, salty rhubarb, sour milky lemon tang, loose wheat.. Flavour is composed of salty, bitter lemon, bitter rhubarb, custard. Mineral chalky finish. Palate is dry crisp, highish carbonation. Ok.
