Cask at Head of Steam, Birmingham. Clear gold with small white top. Toasted malts, cardboard, old citrus fruits and gooseberry. Light bodied, slick and semi-drying. Just tastes stale to me but perfectly drinkable.

Hand-pulled half-pint at The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 30th October 2021. Clean and clear golden body, snow white crown on top. The aroma and taste are citrussy with lime like esters and flavours to the fore. Some malt action kicking in for some balance.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Bright gold. Soft haze. Frothy, lasting, white head. Nose has grainy malts up front. A little yeasty and bready. Hoppage is fairly subdued here. Some notes of lime leaf and peach stone. Hint of pepper. Taste has a little spicy dryness. Light bitter zestiness. Light to medium body. Prickly carbonation. Fairly punchy, lime juice bitter finish.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. As Motueka Pale Ale. Orangey gold. Light haze. Film of dense, white head. Nose has ripe pear and peach, upfront. Some tinned fruit salad. Sweet and creamy grain. Some notes of spicy herb. Bit of peach stone. Itโs fresh and clean, but it doesnโt jump out of the glass. Taste is soft, fruity sweet, with light, floral and spicy bitterness. Medium body. Soft fizz. Finish is long, spicy, slightly earthy bitter. Very decent, but maybe lacking some pop.
