Bag-in-a-box from the Flying Pig, Cambridge. Musty apple aroma, heavy on the vinegar. Tastes sweet at first but there’s a touch of soap afterward. Nice sour tang in the finish with sour apple lingering on the aftertaste. I get used to it, but it’s not the most balanced of their ciders. Bit of a mixed bag.

Gravity dispense (bag-in-box) @ Fat Cat Brewery Tap, 98-100 Lawson Road, Norwich, Norfolk, England NR3 4LF. [ As Orchard Pig Navelgazer ].ABV: 6.0%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, sweet apples, apple pie - apple porridge. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, apple, sweet apples, sugary apples. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20150804] 6-2-6-3-13

Cask @ Bridge Bier Huis, Burnley. Amber coloured cider. Dryish in the mouth, but with an apple sweetness in its taste. Its strength is notable too.

Bladder bag at the Stable, Falmouth, 25/04/16. Golden with a moderately appointed crown of bubbles atop. Nose is apple skins, light tannins, smoked straw. Taste comprises apple pie, faint pork rinds, straw, earthy apple, light funk. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Decent.

Sampled at Brighton Beer Dispensary. Clear pale yellow, small white head. Smell and taste lightly vinous, light to moderately sweet, apple, sweet apple. Decent body and carbonation. Decent.

Draught @ The Fox, Dalston. Pours clear gold, fairly sweet verging-on-sour apple taste with a dry finish. A touch too tart and sweet for me.

Plastic container@Black Door, Helsinki. Slightly hazy yellow colour with no head. Aroma is apples, vanilla and some floral notes. Flavour is vanilla, mild acidic wood and some sweet and tart apples as well.

From plastic canister at Black Door, Helsinki. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, apple and dryness.
