[ As Truman’s / Blue Monkey Jungle Bells ].Clear medium orange amber colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, biscuit malt, light earthy - light honey. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, earthy malt, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, biscuit malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151203] 5-3-6-3-11

Cask at Pigs Ear 2015 - London. Pours clear orange-gold with a frothy, white head. The nose has lightly toasted bread, butter, orange. Light to medium sweet flavour with some butterscotch, light hay, toffee, bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Bready finish with more notes of diacetyl, toffee, slight leafy hops. OK overall.

Pigs Ear Day 4. Cask. Clear amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Thin malts, mildly sweet. Tangy citrus and ripe orange. Mild floral bitterness in the semi dry finish. A smooth and drinkable bitter,.

Cask at the New Leathern Bottle, Winkfield. Dark straw with a tight white head; aroma of grain and yeast; smooth grainy body, with a sweet fruity taste, and a light bitterness; and a biscuity finish.

Cask at Pigs Ear ’15, 04/12/15. Golden amber with a moderate off White covering. Nose is biscuit malt, fruit rinds, light spice, caramel wafer. Taste comprises orange peel, straw, toasted bread, toffee, light spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter linger. Ok.
