Aus der Flasche (bbe 12-2024) im 2020-02 getrunken. Im Glas erinnert diese Stout mit seiner feinporigen, beigen Schaumkrone an ein Cappucino. Und auch die Nase und Gaumen bestätigen dies sofort. Dies ist ein leckeres Stout mit einer recht unkomplizierten Harmonie und vollen Körper.

bottle from meny dark brown, light brown head. aroma of lacto, coffee, toffee, roasted malts. flavor is hard roasted malts, roasted coffee, dark chocolate, some caramel - the bitterness is high enough to not get it go cloying in the flavor, the aroma was a bit too much sweet bitter toffee chocolatey.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of coffee, roasted malt, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, and bread, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Sample@Ølfestival København 2018 - dark brown pour with a beige head. Roasted and sweet malty with prominent coffee roast, chocolate, caramel, medium body, some burnt malty accents, dark roasted malty finish.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark copper brown with stable beige head. Clear aroma of malt, fruit and yeast, with notes of coffee and hints of spice. Bitter, roasty and coffeelike onset, giving way to seeet notes of fruit and malt and estery touches. Roasty aftertaste with malty touches and mild acidic hints. Quite decent as such and rather good for the style, too.
