Chelmsfaaarhd Winter Beer Fest. Cask in KEGS. Light haze on this reddish - amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light and mildly dry, low carbonation. Some eggy yeast. Tangy caramel malts and ripe orange peel. Trace of fresher orange. Light dry finish. A bit under par.

Cask handpump at The Burnt Pig, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, Saturday 22nd April 2017 in the company of Dad and Pauline. Pours deep copper, this is my second very traditional beer, however it’s a very decent effort, fruity and even a little juicy but very English, the bitterness is even very pleasant. I like this.
