Cask at the Flying Pig, Cambridge. Pumpclip refers to beer as ’Blueberry Ale’ but it’s the same one. Copper coloured, flat. Faint vinous fruit, wine gum and malty aroma. Sweet fruitiness in the taste, with a slight bitter tang. Fairly uniform taste profile throughout. Grows on me, but still not much to it.

Cask gravity at Cambridge BF 08. Deep red with thin off whtie head. Definite bludberry on aroma. Base beer is a fairly simple bitter, some drying hop on finish. Fruit is restrainedly sweet. A little chalky and not totally integrated, but not bad, slightly sour hop finish is not very pleasant.
