Pigs Ear Day 1. Cask. Clear gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry. Decent fine carbonation. Dry pale malts. Ripe citrus and citric peel. Light dry finish. Fine.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2015, day 1 - London. Pours clear, glowing gold with a creamy, white head. Pale grains and rindy citrus define this one, with a bit of orange, toasty hay, tangerine. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes sweet, with further notes of pale bread, tangerine, slight bitter hay. A rather nice golden bitter. Very drinkable.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear 2015. It pours hazy golden - amber with a small bubbly white head. The nose is soft, sweet grain, toasty, honey, some stickiness and stone fruits. The taste is toasty, earthy, grainy, cereal, honey, stewed orange and citrus peel with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit too grainy for my liking. Pretty so-so.
