Saftig. Fornemmer jeg et hint af røgmalt?

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy copper brown with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, hops and caramel, with notes of fruit and needles. Bitter, hoppy and grassy flavour with sweet notes of caramel malt and touches of bread, fruit and citrus. Hints of salt. Citric and slightly salty and bitterish aftertaste. Low carbonation. Not very well-balanced. Could be better.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear nutty brown with an off-white head. Sweet, yeasty spicy nose. Medium body, soft on the palate, chalky, spicy, slightly tart and very yeasty. As such not a bad example of a Saison, but it tastes like a pale Saison so I’m not sure why they made it dark. A tribute to Wallonian Farmhouse Ales - seriously?? And if Wallonian then why the f... name it after a Flemish. 230317

clear brown, large offwhite head. spicy slightly lemongrassy aroma, herbs and hay. flavor is malty, spicy, slightly wild, or rather belgian yeasty. If there was a thing like sweet malty saison, then this might be it. Taste is in fact quite dry, and the beer tastes like controlled craft brewed chaos, rather than just crazy belgian brewing.

Bottle, 6.5%. Spicy and yeasty aroma, dark malts, sweet rye bread. Clear dark brown colour. Big stable light brown head. The flavour is caramelly with a mild spiciness from either malts or hops... or spices, I guess. Quite clean for the style.

500 ml bottle. Clear amber body with a medium sized tan head. Aroma has caramel, toast and spicy Saison yeast. Flavor is mild, smooth caramel malt, spicy yeast and some fruit in general as well. Medium body and quite nice aftertaste with malt and yeast. OK and quite interesting but becomes a bit one-dimensional after a while.
