7 week old can A: Clear pale gold with faint haze and a 1/2 fast falling white head. S: Perfumey scent of sweet bread, herbs, and flowers with faint fruit . T: Bitter herbal and heavy floral notes join mildly sweet bready malts then a grass, hay and biscuit aftertaste. M: Light and crisply carbonated with a powdery and slick mouthfeel. O: New school hops stick out but don't keep this from being very tasty and drinkable.

Can at the Brick Store Pub. Pours a hazy, pale, yellow color, with a small, white head. The nose is chalk, dust, white sugar, honey, and pine. Sweet and malty, with a mild bitterness. Light body, with a crisp, sharp mouthfeel. This is a simple, refreshing, and aromatic pilsener.

Good pint, nothing groundbreaking but hits all the notes you want in a pils, offering up floral bitterness and a grassy middle with modest lemon-apple lager esters adding depth. Grainy malts provide a modestly sweet base, and the finish grows dry and yeasty. The Huell Melons are a nice touch as well, giving a fruity canteloupe and berry backbone to the hops. Not quite as crisp and clean as a great pilsener should be, but very drinkable regardless. Pours a pretty straw gold with a thin white head and slight lace. Perfect pils texture is light and perky. Lemon, apple, and grass on the nose. Not bad.
