Bottle from the Misty Bottle, Skye. It pours slightly hazy deep golden - blonde with a handsome white head. The aroma is white bread, digestives, toasty grains, touch of spice and dull peachy fruits. The taste is crispy, dry, toasty grains, fragrant, floral, grass, pithy, waxy citrus peel, slightly chalky, minerality and snappy biscuit with a toasty spice finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Fairly robust for a golden ale. Not bad for the style.

500ml bottle from Glen Spean Brewery shop in Spean Bridge - clear amber gold body with a short lived white head. Grassy biscuit nose, fairly grassy taste with a bit of citrus. Nice enough.

Spotty beige head on a well carbonated unclear pale amber coloured body. Herbal, wet cardboard & malt aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with sharp back. Sweet, malt, nougat, herbal & vegetal tastes with a nicely hopped finish. That's tasty.

Bottle thanks to FiL Daniel. Drank from the bottle, label is nice with some interesting print. Aroma is malty, grain, light fruity. Taste is grainy, fruity, bit buttery but drinkable.

Bottle thanks to Peeps. Appearance - golden with a proportionate off-white head. Nose - caramel with just a hint of lemon. Taste - barley and caramel. A bit sweet. Palate - light to medium bodied. Too sweet for the style really. Overall - so so.
