Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is very Brett forward. Some earthy phenolic notes with herbal and spicy phenolic notes as well. Moderate hop notes with a light acidity and woody note and a more herbal, grassy character. Pours a murky orange with a huge, thick, pillowy, white head that slowly falls into itself. This beer is likely slowly becoming a gusher. Flavor is similar to the aroma with a lot of Brett character displaying itself through fairly strong phenolic notes. There is a light sweetness upfront, but a very dry finish. Phenolics are herbal and earthy, straying a bit on the plastic side. Medium light hop notes that add some citrus as well as a light grassiness. Lots of grassy, herbal, woody phenolics. Moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, I’m not a huge fan of the Brett character. I wish there was a bit more fruitiness. A stronger hop character would be better too. Not a fan of the slight plastic note to the phenolics which seems to accentuate the bitterness.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin creamy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with light Brett notes, light cork, light curacao, very nice. In mouth, a nice smooth biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light Brett notes, light buttery notes, grapeskin, nice and smooth. On tap at Placentia location.

Bottled 12/4/15, shared by Adam on 5/22/16.
Pale, straw-golden body shows a gentle haziness and a plentiful amount of white head with moderately-strong retention.
Good lemony-brett in the nose with light lilacs and a touch of soft funky basement. Lots of hay-like grain character and more bright fruitiness on the finish. No alcohol or flaw. Hops are fairly faded at this point, but still add light tropical fruit and no resin, thankfully.
Tight, ample carbonation and a soft, malty texture with high attenuation. More dry than most Bruery beers, which is nice for a change, with very straightforward lemon and tropical fruit notes from the brett. Honey, biscuit and hay comprise the malt which easily balances the low bitterness and does not dull the brightness. No flaw or alcohol. A Bruery beer that I can’t find any problems with. Doesn’t happen very often (ever?)!!

750 ml bottle. Pours hazy yellow, some great head retention. Aroma shows musty basement, citrus, lemongrass and Brett.
Flavor is integrated citrus, passionfruit, stone fruits with a large Brettanomyces character. Medium body, effervescent mouth feel. The Brett drys out the texture. I was real surprised how nice the hops were still showing in this bottle. I enjoyed this.

75CL from hoarders society. Huge head on this one, 5 fingers thick like meringue with tiny bubbles and crazy lacing. sort of a reddish golden orange color. The aroma is nice, lovely brett leathery rope-like funk with a lot of mosaic on the aroma hops. great mouthfeel, has a lot of kiwi and grapefruit and even some pineapple here. apples, lovely brett yeast. has an older pale ale taste with stale hop additions but overall, it’s a very nice beer!

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy gold with a huge creamy whitehead. Aroma is mild, fruity Brett. Med body or so. Flavor is light stone fruit, a little bitter, some Southern Cross fruit notes, and a decent level of Brett. Finishes fruity/funky/earth with a hop background. Bitter; nice.

Bottle thanks to AJ. Pours a clear orange with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong brett and diaper. Medium mouth, strong brett, funky, oak, lingering dryness.

The beer is a medium light amber. Quite cloudy. Large white head. Big puffy clumps of bubbles. Lots of lacing. Excellent retention. The aroma is about what I expected. Some phenolic character. Dusty brett. Some fruitiness. Apricot, very mild lemon and lime, peach. Maybe some light funk but it’s pretty clean brett, just that dusty farmhouse note. Mild fresh grain sweetness. The taste is much drier than expected. Lots of bland yeast flavor. Moderate bland bitterness. Just not enough going in the taste. Feel is light and soft. Nice enough beer that just sorta fails in the taste department.
