One-third pint, keg at Norwich Tap House. Clear warm golden body, low white head, crocheted lacework on the glass. Hop fruity taste of pineapple and pale malts. Similar fresh hop fruity taste of pineapple on a backbone of smooth pale malts. Rounded mid-bitter ending. A nice one, very refreshing. (Norwich 10.07.2017).

Keg tap at Cambridge Brew House. Light lagery yellow, almost straw. Not much head but plentiful carbonation. Hay and grass, light citrus, slight grain and vegetal notes. Taste is bittersweet lightly bittersweet but not without a noticeable malt presence. These beers confuse me. ’It’s a lager!’ ’But it’s good!’ ’But... it’s a lager!’ Gentle, short-ish finish. Hint of raspberry at the end. Lively carbs on the palette. What every lager has no excuse for not being.

Keg @ Alltech Beer Fest, Dublin [280215]
Blonde, light hazy, frothy white head
Aroma of citrus zest hops, light pale malts
Taste of citrus zest, fairly sweet pale malts, lots of vibrant fresh hops
Palate - soft carb, medium body, fairly sweet malt and bitter hops. Finish has more stinging citrus hops
Overall - Tasty lager, good refreshing stuff, more a hoppy ipa / lager hybird

Keg at the Lyric - London. Pours perfectly clear gold with a lasting creamy white head. Firm bready pale malts in the aroma with some ripened citrus fruits, light cereal and grain. Medium sweet flavor with simple white bread, sugary tangerine, hay, grain, slight pine needles and florals. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. A touch sugary on the finish with further simple bready pale malts, faint cereal, biscuits, tangerine. Tasty enough but could be crisper.

Keg at the Lyric, Soho. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The nose is fresh, soft, fruit, citrus, toasty grain and cereal. The taste is crisp, bitter, toasty grain, earth, mild sweetness, lemon, grapefruit rind and a touch of sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body and prickly carbonation. Clean and crisp. A rather nice hoppy lager.
