8/10
Intensely hoppy, tropical fruity, vinous grapey and dankish with some floral notes, citrus, pine, grapefruit, melon and tangerine, hints of creamy fluffiness and faint notes of bitterness in the finish. Complex and balanced, quite crushable for a TIPA.Nom

Can (4/09/25) from the brewery. Opaque, milky orange juice, decent head with tons of sparkle, fair retention and rings of lacing. Aroma is initial burst of white grape, florals, spice followed by massively strong arm pit/musky/cooking herb.Taste follows aroma with white grape, florals and background malts transiently coming up for air through a sea of massive herb. Smooth, frothy texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and dry, yeasty finish. Boy, if the old white-grapey Nelson was made as strong as the herbal Nelson, there would be lot of near-perfect beers out there! Like it but don't love it.

Canned 4/12, drunk 5/23/25, compliments of tfontana. Thanks, Tom!
Another near turbid pour though more bronze and maize in this one. Rocky, off-white head.
Heavy white grape, herbage, intense floral spice. No alcohol, resin, excess sweetness.
To that end, it drinks lighter than 10%, but Im not trying to drink a 10% ABV beer that tastes light. What's the point of that? Super herby and grassy and floral. White grape, some mineral, but I think some of the juicy tropical character of Nelson is lost here. Just so much herbal, grassy, floral spice. Definitely applaud the soft texture, lack of booze, sugar and syrupiness, though. Very impressive on those accounts.

16 oz can traded by tfontana. Aroma bold white grape, hay stacks, soft malt. The flavor is smooth white grapes, soft malt background and mild hay nuances. Soft texture. Drinks ridiculously lighter than 10%. This is 10%?. Wow!!

Pint can shared at Benny’s place. Poured a milky yellow golden colour, with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, grassy dank hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, grassy green hop, earthy, herbal, light boozy hop bitter palate. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Pours a hazy, bright lemon-banana yellow, with mid-sized head. Aroma is extremely pungent, with a note of oil/gas mixture, along with citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor follows. Sweet base beer, though not cloyingly so. Very soft mouthfeel. ABV is well-hidden. Moderate level of hop bitterness in finish.
