Cask (gravity) @ 33th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2016, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Redemption / One Mile End Compass West ].Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, anis seed, licorice, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice, orange - tangerine - fruity, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161129] 7-3-8-3-15

Pigs Ear Fest. Cask. Light haze on this amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Sweetish caramel malts, some rye character. Nice pine. Marmalade. Light semi dry finish. Decent.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2016 - London. Pours clear copper with a creamy, white head. The nose holds grainy toast, ripe citrus, orange, a dash of pine. Light-medium sweet flavour with more lightly toasted bread, juicy citrus, some leaves. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with a little piney bitterness, orange rind, more bready ate. Enjoyable.

Cask at Pigs Ear. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is soft, grainy cereal, hay, perfumed, earthy and porridge. The taste is soft, bitter, sticky, chewy, earthy, perfumed, earth, porridge, leather with a dryjng finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Grainy and chewy odd brew.

Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer fest 2016. A reddy amber coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma is red berries, nutty sweet mlats, tobacco, pine, . Flavour is composed woody pine red berries, nutty malts. Little pine, sharp citrus, Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, grainy. Good.
