Super Hoppy Lager!!! A modern, very hoppy take on our Helles. We've taken our Helles base beer and pushed the boundaries with our whirlpool and dry hop additions to create a very aromatic and hop saturated lager that punches hard into hop heaven. (collab with Yakima Chief Hops)

440ml can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Poured a clear light yellow golden colour with a big lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, grassy, light weedy. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a fresh, crisp, mineral, light lemon citrus, grassy, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Very nice and better than I originally expected, but the earlier positive ratings absolutely influenced my decision to buy this. Isn’t that the beauty of beer rating! Never a bad beer.

Keg draught at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Light golden and clear with a small yet dense white head. Bright, fruity hop aroma with lemon zest, satsuma and grainy malt. Taste is initially sweet and fruity with white grape and more lemon, followed by a more bitter and slightly drying finish. Light body with very heavy carbonation. Very moreish. Brilliantly put together Helles.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft OG. Pours totally clear yellow with a frothy, white topping. Light sweet flavour with notes of fresh biscuits, lemon peel, kiwi, light minerality, grapefruit, straw, pale grains, mild bitter husk. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish, more husky pale grains, pale biscuits, citrus peel. Very nice stuff. Not a trad helles but really enjoyable.
